Professor Klaus Muehlhahn, Vice President of Berlin Free University, visited NAEA and made a report for the 16th Class of Zhejiang Mid-level Administrators
On April 26, Professor Klaus Muehlhahn, Vice President of Berlin Free University, visited NAEA. Vice President Dr.Yu Jingtian met with the guest. Staff of the International Cooperation and Training Department participated in the meeting.
Yu first welcomed President Klaus Muehlhahn's visit, and thanked Berlin Free University for undertaking the "Central and Western University Presidential Training Program" and arranging high-quality training for students. After that, President Yu briefed the guests on the main work of NAEA and expressed willingness of further cooperation. He invited Principal Klaus Muehlhahn to visit NAEA again in the future and make a presentation for the trainees.
Klaus Muehlhahn thanked NAEA for entrusting the Free University of Berlin to undertake China's "Research Program for Presidents of Midwest Universities". He believed that German universities have many similarities with Chinese universities and have potential for cooperation in the future. He said that the Free University of Berlin attached great importance to cooperation with China and hoped that the two universities would have more cooperation in the future.
After the meeting, Klaus Muehlhahn gave a special report on “the role of humanistic education in the digital age” the 16th Class of Zhejiang Mid-level Administrators, and fully exchanged views on the relationship between the development of Applied Science and technology universities and humanistic education, and the transformation of modern German universities.
