Macao education and Youth Affairs Bureau 2018 “Principal Training Program” kicked off at NAEA

  The 2018 “Principal Training Program” of education and youth bureau of the government of Macao special administrative region kicked off at NAEA on June 19. The Vice President of NAEA Yu Jingtian and director of Macao education and Youth Affairs Bureau addressed at the opening ceremony.

  Yu jingtian warmly welcomed Macao compatriots and stated that Macao had a high level of education and bear its own characteristics and advantages. He hoped that Macao and the mainland will continue to maintain an open attitude and deepen mutual exchanges and exchanges with foreign countries. He said that the NAEA was also the learning home for Macao counterparts and expected to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with Macao education and youth bureau, jointly built and shared high-quality education leadership training system and resources with Macao counterparts in the future. During their training and study on campus, NAEA would try its best to provide high-quality service and wish they have a smooth study life.

  Jiang Yi expressed thanks to the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan affairs ministry of education, the joint office of the CPC central committee and NAEA for their support in organizing the training courses. He believed that the design of the curriculum was in line with the training needs. There were not only cutting-edge topics such as "One Belt And One Road" education action and artificial intelligence, but also Chinese excellent traditional culture, teacher professional development and other courses. Jiang Yi briefly introduced the basic situation of education in Macau, and responded to the hopes of vice President Yu Jingtian, believing that the training of education leaders is of great importance, indicating that the cooperation and exchange with NAEA will be strengthened to better promote the development of education in Macau in the future.

  This session of education training course for principals of the youth bureau of the government of the Macao special administrative region is consists of 19 civil servants, principals of primary and secondary schools and principals of kindergartens. According to the training plan, they will study on campus for 6 days.
