The 27th Training Program on National Basic Education Reform held at NAEA
On October 19, the opening ceremony of the 27th training program on national basic education reform was held at National Academy of Education Administration. Vice president Yu Jingtian attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. After the opening session, Lv Yugang, director-general of Department of Basic Education, MOE made a special report.
Yu jingtian pointed out that the main task of this training program was to learn cutting-edge education policies and theories, shared practical experiences in running schools, and thought about the main problems related to school reform and development.
Lv Yugang explained and sorted out the key areas and important issues in the reform of basic education from three perspectives, namely the strategic position and development status of basic education, major decisions and important reforms, and promotion of high-quality basic education development. 80 primary and secondary school principals from 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities would conduct intensive learning during the next two weeks.
