From September 25 to 30, a training program for newly-appointed leaders from universities directly under the Ministry of Education was held at the National Academy of Education Administration. Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng delivered a speech for 67 participants on September 29. Zhang Donggang, Director General of Personnel Department of Ministry of Education chaired the meeting. Hou Huijun, Party Secretary and executive vice president of National Academy of Education Administration attended the meeting.

　　Huai stressed the importance of studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at a central conference on talent-related work, and called on universities to make their own contributions on talents fostering. Huai Jinpeng put forward five requirements for the newly-appointed national university leaders.
