The 58th Advanced Program for Leaders of Colleges and Universities Successfully Completed
On the afternoon of December 10th, the 58th Advanced Program for Leaders of Colleges and Universities was successfully completed. Hou Huijun, deputy secretary general of the CPC NAEA committee and vice President, attended the graduation ceremony and delivered a speech. Li Bin, the monitor of this program and the President of Changsha Social Work College, made a speech on behalf of all the participants. Qiao Yuhua, deputy director of the continuing education department presided over the completion ceremony.
Hou Huijun first congratulated all the participants on the successful completion of various training tasks, gave full recognition to the achievements of the training class, and put forward great expectations for the future work of the participants. She pointed out that "pragmatisim" is the latest test and requirements for the leaders in the new period. She hope all the participants to thoroughly study Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era and the important statements about education on the National Education Conference; Firmly establish "two safeguards", "four consciousness" and "four confidence", stick to the ideal faith and strengthen the party spirit cultivation and exercise; Further enhance the ability of running the school, clarify the reform ideas, overcome difficulties and develop new practice of modern vocational education with Chinese characteristics with new ideas.
The participants agreed that this high-quality advanced program was both heoretical and practical. Through this training program, they deepened grasp of educational regularity, boosted the confidence in post-secondary vocational education, and clarified the development path of post-secondary vocational characteristics. They also expressed that they would transform the knowledge into practical work, and strive to promote the high-quality development of post-secondary vocational colleges in the new era.
